Feedback with a purpose

We all want to provide feedback to our pupils so that they can grow, even if Diaz's Bad Teacher and Black's Ned Schnabel in School of Rock both delightfully depict the teaching profession. As a result, our academy has changed its focus this academic year from listing students' strengths and shortcomings to solely telling them what they need to do to get better. Although saying "well done, Dave" boosts one's ego, it regrettably doesn't help students achieve the great grades we know they are capable of. Even though everyone enjoys a little praise, this change is more obvious to both staff and students.

Is leaving a small red tick going to help pupils learn? Or perhaps a great personalized stamp? Despite the fact that the books are visually appealing, they do not help students study. Recruitment and retention are major issues in the teaching profession that no regular staff yoga can address as a gesture to wellness. People frequently change professions due to employment demands. As stated in The Guardian, "High workload and
